CPRE Shropshire Policy Position Statement 1

School Closure and Amalgamation

Many factors can play a part in a decision to close a school and these are best taken into account as the individual case unfolds. Our basic position is that as part of CPRE Shropshire's objective of keeping rural communities alive we will normally oppose the closure of rural schools.
