County planners have begun planning for the future of the county under the unitary authority. The unified authority will bring with it a single planning regime, based around a county-wide plan, known as the local development framework. Drawing up this framework will be a drawn out process, and CPRE Shropshire will be preparing a detailed response at each stage. We will also be commenting on other unitary strategies, including housing.
