  • A role in protecting the countryside
  • Shropshire Landscapes, our quarterly magazine
  • Countryside Voice, the national magazine for CPRE, issued three times a year

Making a donation to CPRE Shropshire

CPRE Shropshire is able to campaign effectively because of the funds its receives from its members and supporters. We do not receive funds from the government, local councils or commercial companies.

If you enjoy the countryside of Shropshire and would like future generations to do the same, please consider giving CPRE Shropshire a financial gift. Whatever the size of the donation, it will help us continue to campaign to preserve the tranquil and beautiful character of Shropshire.

Please send your donation by cheque made payable to CPRE Shropshire to:

David Challoner, CPRE Shropshire, Bear Steps Office, St Alkmonds Square, Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY1 1UH, 01743 356511, cpre@cpreshropshire.org.uk

Leaving CPRE Shropshire a Legacy

I'm leaving a legacy to CPRE because I want my grandchildren to inherit a green, tranquil England, not one overlaid by tarmac and concrete. When I go, I want to be pushing up the daisies. Actress Prunella Scales, former President of CPRE.

CPRE Shropshire is able to campaign effectively because of the funds its receives from its members and supporters. We do not receive funds from the government, local councils or commercial companies.

If you enjoy the countryside of Shropshire and would like future generations to do the same, please consider leaving CPRE Shropshire a legacy in your will. Whatever the size of the legacy, it will help us to continue to campaign to protect the beautiful, tranquil, and diverse character of Shropshire.

Leaving CPRE Shropshire a gift in your will is very simple. We suggest that you consult a solicitor to ensure that your wishes are carried out as you intend. If you already have a will, you will need to add an amendment, called a codicil.

You can leave us:

  • A residuary legacy: part or all the remains of your estate after all the other bequests, debts, tax and expenses have been paid
  • A specific legacy: a gift of a particular item such as a house or shares
  • A pecuniary legacy: a specified cash sum.

Please leave your gift to:
