CPRE Shropshire Landscape Photo competition 2019

“My Shropshire”

We're delighted to announce the winner of our "My Shropshire" photo competition!

Huge congratulations go to Richard Greswell, who won the overall prize for his dramatic image "Storm on the Shropshire Hills" (opposite).

We received over 400 entries from Shropshire's amateur photographers and were delighted with the high quality and range of work submitted, it really was was a tough decision for our judges to make.

Janet Lewis with her photo of “Offa’s Dyke on Llanfair Hill” and Olwyn Wall with “Misty Morning on the Severn” were both named joint runners up.

The Selby Martin Prize is awarded to Chris Lewis with his atmospheric image, “Trees in the Mist”.

See our stunning entries of Shropshire for yourself!

Our photo exhibition has now finished its very successful and popular display at the Stables Courtyard at Attingham Park (Atcham, Shrewsbury - National Trust) and will move on to other venues in 2020, including Kerry Vale Vineyard, Church Stoke, Telford Town Centre, Bear Steps, Shrewsbury and the Willow Gallery, Oswestry, and hopefully others too.
