CPRE Shropshire’s 2025 AGM

We are delighted to invite CPRE Members to our 2025 AGM at Stokesay Court in South Shropshire (kindly hosted by Caroline Magnus), which will include a house/garden tour and traditional afternoon tea.

 

Pevsner’s Buildings of England describes the house (a Grade 2* listed building) as "the most grandiloquent Victorian mansion in the county."  Stokesay Court has had an eventful and fascinating history which members will hear about on the guided tour and was used for the filming of the Tallis House in the critically acclaimed film ‘Atonement’. Following the AGM business, there will be a short presentation by a member of the Shropshire National Landscape team and this will be followed by afternoon tea and a house/garden tour (optional).
