CPRE Hedgerow Heroes project
Traditional hedgelaying workshops
CPRE Shropshire is delighted to confirm the dates and venues for our hedgelaying workshops this autumn!
NB - 22/11/22 update: the workshops are now nearly all fully booked. If you are interested in being put on the waiting list (we do get cancellations), please email email@example.com or fill in the form below and you will automatically be added to the list and will be contacted if places arise. This can be quite close to the workshop dates!
The workshops will be led by Richard Clarke of Really Rural and (new for this year) Russell Critchley of Deadwood. We are very grateful to them for undertaking the training and to the site owners for offering up their hedge sites for trainees to learn on!
By booking your place on the form below, please note that these workshops are offered free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis and there is likely to be a waiting list for places.
We limit trainees to 12 per workshop.
Please only book the workshop if you fully intend to come along on both days and are aware that the English weather may not always be the best!
There are 4 sites this year: Admaston (Telford - arable farm), Much Wenlock (Cavalier Centre) and an estate between Market Drayton and Whitchurch in North Shropshire. There are also two workshops in the Batch Valley, near Church Stretton (National. Trust).
Russell will run the North Shropshire workshops and Richard all of the rest.
