The District CPRE group is made up of Borough Councillors, Parish Councillors, members of CPRE and other local organisations who have an interest in the protection of green and rural spaces in Telford & Wrekin.

Officially formed in 2017 we now meet four times a year to discuss planning matters, the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan, how to support other communities, events and such matters. Our Borough has been subject to extensive developments over the last 10 years and with more pressures rising to build homes, we want to campaign to make sure they are built in the right places, at the right time and right for the community needs.

 

We are always keen to get new members on board and support local groups who wish to protect green and rural spaces and welcome them to any of our meetings. No necessary skills are required, just the determination to protect the green and rural spaces for the next generation. ​​
