CPRE Hedgerow Heroes project

Hedgerow creativity workshops for all, 2024/2025

Andrew Howe, a local Shrewsbury based artist will run 4 more
free workshops for us in 2024/25.

 

Workshops will include a gentle hedgerow walk and a chance to try out some
interesting techniques of printmaking or mark-making using natural inks/materials
and responding to the environment around us.

Come to the second workshop in this series of four mindful and relaxing art sessions open to all including children (accompanied by an adult). Gather plant material in the field and learn how to make surprising and beautiful prints with them.

 

The tutor is Shrewsbury-based artist Andrew Howe, who is a collaborator in the Landing Project a creative exploration of rural labour, the evolution of farming practices and future relationships between people and land.

 

Everyone welcome whether you have tried printmaking before or not.
