Field Names Talk, Friday 12
and Walk, Saturday 13 September 2025
 

We were delighted to welcome Dr Jayne Carroll and Dr John Baker back to the Clun Valley to run another Field Names Talk and Walk on 12 and 13 September 2025.

75 people attended the evening talk in Newcastle Community Centre on the Friday evening and 28 people came out on the walk the following day around the hamlet of Whitcott Keysett, taking us up on to the Shropshire Way from the valley bottom giving fantastic views of the field systems in the valley below.
